I began my knitting and crafting podcast on YouTube in the fall of 2016 and fell in love with the creative community I became a part of. In the fall of 2018, I took the plunge into the flosstube community and have been welcomed with open arms. Come and see what I'm up to on my YouTube channel!
I began my cross stitch 'career' in the fall of 1988 during my first semester of university when my roommate introduced me to the craft. Years later, partially based on my own frustration of not being able to find quality craft mementos of my beautiful province, I began to design cross stitch patterns and kits inspired by the landscape and architecture of Newfoundland and Labrador and, ultimately, our beautiful planet.
I am a one woman show creating designs from scratch and developing cross stitch patterns and kits from those designs. It is a thrill to be using my creative abilities in a business of my own.
I live in the beautiful province of Newfoundland and Labrador on the extreme East coast of Canada with my three sons, two cats, one dog and retired military husband.
I am a stay at mom to three boys and happily married to my husband of 23 years. I fit in my creative pursuits any chance I get, much to the dismay of my housework;).
My patterns can be found in Issues 48, 50 & 51 of the 'A Needle Pulling Thread' magazine, through my Etsy shop and in four brick and mortar shops here in Newfoundland and Labrador. Contact me for details!
